AHA Design is a design firm interiors firm founded by Afiyah H. Adams. I interviewed her when she was stepping out on her own in the summer of 2022. We talked for hours about her business, and the benefit of having parents who support your dreams. Hearing there story shaped my identity as a parent, to always do the same with my daughter. I came into the interview to tell the world who she is, and I instead discovered who i wanted to be. That is the beauty in the story. We learn both about who we wish and don't want to be. We discover that across the aisle is a person who looks so similar to us from within. That is what I love about writing. And what the world will discover through you.
