During my 2.5+ years at Rahal Factory in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, I stepped into the packaging industry and grew into a well-rounded designer with real-world, production-level experience. This is where my packaging journey truly began. I designed and prepared print-ready files for boxes, pouches, bags, labels, and perfume packaging. Working in a fast-paced environment taught me not just design, but the full process from concept to final print. A key part of this role was working directly with clients face-to-face. Customers would sit with me, share their ideas, and I would bring their vision to life in real time — making changes on the spot, refining layouts, and finalizing details together. When clients came with just a rough concept, I would develop it and present it as a 2D design or realistic 3D mockup so they could visualize the final product before print. I also learned the technical side of packaging — creating accurate dielines for boxes, pouches, bags, and labels from scratch, including fold lines, bleed areas, and cut paths. Work at Rahal Factory included: Box, pouch & bag dieline creation Label & perfume packaging design Logo & brand identity work 3D mockup presentations for client approvals Print file preparation (CMYK, bleed, die-cut paths) Direct client coordination & live design revisions This role gave me a strong foundation in both creative design and technical print production.
