FAQ
How many words will be in my press release?
Good question, and we won't know until we write it! A well-written press release should be short, to the point, and free from 'fluff' and hype. In order to get a journalist's attention we need to tell your story efficiently, so your PR could end up anywhere from 300 to 700 words.
What do I need to provide you with to get started?
We'll need your website URL and some guidance as to what you'd like your press release to talk about. If you're unsure about a topic, we can make some suggestions for you.
What if I have no clue what my press release should be about?
No worries, we'll come up with some suggestions for you!
What about images, videos or anchor text hyperlinks?
We can embed up to 5 images and one YouTube video. A maximum of 3 hyperlinks are allowed.
Are there any topics that are not accepted?
We don't accept the following topics: mortgages, payday loans, loan services, adult content, litigation, gambling, e-cigs, content intended to harm or defame, radical religious reviews, cannabis, or health supplements of any kind.
Do I get to see my press release before you distribute it?
Most definitely. You can also suggest any changes if you wish.
What do I get with the "Media pitch" gig extra?
If you'd like to target additional media publications that our services don't cover, this easy-to-use guide will show you how to email a journalist with your press release and follow up with a phone pitch. We provide you with a customized email, phone call scripts and instructions.
What if I'm unhappy with the writing? Will it still be distributed?
We're happy to continue working with you to get a press release you're happy with, but once the initial writing has been completed, the order will no longer be able to be cancelled and we will distribute.
I didn't get the placements I thought I would. Can I get a refund?
No. We do not offer any refunds NOR revision requests once the distribution process is underway and/or completed. We have no control over the distribution process and outcome.
