Most founders don't lose the round on the pitch. They lose it in diligence, when an investor opens the model and the numbers don't hold up. I build the financial layer of a raise — DCF valuations, comparable company analysis, three-statement operating models, investor teasers, and the exhibits behind the deck. I'm an Analyst at Daloopa, building institutional-grade models for teams at Morgan Stanley, RBC and UBS. Built institutional-grade historical financial models and segment-level datasets from multi-source company filings for teams at bulge-bracket banks including Morgan Stanley, Evercore and UBS, covering Materials, Mining and Chemicals. Portfolio was mostly Japanese companies, and I built 5-year models for Chinese companies from scratch. Every model tied out to reported figures with integrity checks, clean tab structure and documented assumptions.
