I currently work as a developmental book editor on Fiverr, where I have the opportunity to collaborate with writers from all backgrounds and genres. My focus is on helping authors shape their manuscripts into the strongest version possible by looking at the bigger picture things like story structure, pacing, character development, tone, and overall flow. I genuinely enjoy working closely with clients to understand their vision and goals for their book. Whether someone is just starting out or polishing a final draft, I provide thoughtful, constructive feedback that helps bring clarity and direction to their work. I aim to make the editing process feel supportive rather than overwhelming, offering suggestions that are practical, easy to follow, and aligned with the author’s voice. Attention to detail is very important in my work, but I also make sure to keep the bigger narrative in mind so the story remains engaging and cohesive. I take pride in being reliable, meeting deadlines, and maintaining clear and friendly communication throughout each project. One of the most rewarding parts of this role is seeing a manuscript evolve and knowing I’ve helped an author feel more confident in their writing. My goal is always to deliver high-quality work while building positive, professional relationships with every client I work with.
