Worked as a Music Marketing Manager, developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for independent artists, musicians, and record labels. Managed music promotion campaigns across Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other major digital platforms, with a strong focus on increasing artist visibility, reaching relevant audiences, and supporting long-term career growth. My responsibilities included Spotify promotion strategy, playlist pitching and curator outreach, social media marketing, content planning, release marketing, and paid advertising campaigns using Meta Ads. I developed customized promotional plans based on each artist's genre, target audience, release goals, and available marketing budget. I also supported artists with music release campaigns, including pre-release planning, release-day promotion, and post-release marketing. This involved researching relevant playlist curators, music blogs, influencers, and promotional opportunities, as well as coordinating outreach campaigns to increase exposure for new releases. In addition, I managed social media strategies and promotional content across multiple platforms, helping artists maintain a consistent online presence and connect with their audiences. I worked with campaign analytics and performance data to evaluate results, identify opportunities, and optimize marketing strategies. Through this role, I gained hands-on experience in digital music marketing, Spotify for Artists, Meta Business Suite, playlist promotion, artist development, audience targeting, music industry research, and multi-platform promotional campaigns. My focus was always on creating practical, audience-focused strategies that help artists build sustainable visibility and strengthen their presence in the digital music industry.
