I will develop a native macos app or utility

À propos de ce service
I develop native macOS apps and utilities that feel at home on the Mac. From focused menu bar tools to complete desktop applications.
I work primarily with Swift, SwiftUI and AppKit, using native macOS APIs and system frameworks to build software that is responsive, maintainable and pleasant to use.
I can build:
- Menu bar utilities and productivity tools
- Standalone desktop applications with multiple views and workflows
- Business and internal tools for specific workflows
- Apps that work with local files, data and external APIs
- Custom macOS software built around your requirements
My focus is on the finished application: clear structure, polished UI, reliable behaviour and appropriate macOS integration. I aim to build software that feels like a real Mac application rather than a generic desktop interface.
I can also incorporate existing C, C++, Objective-C, Bash or Python code when useful, so tested components can be reused instead of rewritten.
Source code is included with every package. I can also help prepare your app for the Mac App Store or direct distribution.
For larger or technically complex projects, please message me before ordering so we can define the scope.

FAQ
What types of macOS apps can you build?
I can build native macOS utilities, menu bar apps, productivity tools, business applications and other custom desktop software. The exact scope depends on the features and integrations required.
Do you build truly native macOS applications?
Yes. I primarily use Swift, SwiftUI and AppKit, together with native macOS APIs and system frameworks.
Can you integrate existing code or libraries?
Yes. If you already have tested code, libraries or business logic in C, C++, Objective-C or Python, I can integrate it into the native macOS application where technically appropriate. This can avoid unnecessarily rewriting existing functionality.
Can you integrate APIs or external services?
Yes. I can integrate REST APIs, local data sources, third-party services and other external components. More complex integrations should be discussed before ordering so I can confirm the scope and requirements.
Can you submit the app to the Mac App Store?
Yes. I can prepare and submit the application to the Mac App Store as an additional service. You will need your own Apple Developer account. App Store approval itself is handled by Apple.
What counts as a revision?
A revision covers changes within the agreed project scope. New features or substantial changes to the requirements are outside the original scope and may require an additional quote.
Should I contact you before ordering?
Yes, especially for applications with multiple integrations, existing code, complex functionality or specific technical requirements. A short discussion lets us confirm the scope, package and timeline before development begins.
