From May 2010 to November 2011, I worked as a Book Interior Designer in the Trade Department at Xlibris Philippines. During my time there, I was responsible for formatting and designing book interiors for print publication, ensuring that manuscripts met the company's production and publishing standards. I also had the opportunity to work on titles published under several affiliated self-publishing imprints, including AuthorHouse, iUniverse, Palibrio, and Trafford. This experience allowed me to become familiar with the formatting guidelines, layout requirements, and quality standards followed by these publishing brands. My responsibilities included manuscript formatting, typography, page layout, chapter styling, front and back matter preparation, image placement, and creating print-ready files. Working across multiple publishing imprints helped me develop strong attention to detail, consistency in design, and an understanding of professional book production workflows.
