Site Supervision & Labour Management Supervised daily site operations, coordinated workforce activities, and ensured planned work schedules were achieved efficiently. Assigned tasks to skilled and unskilled labourers based on daily targets and monitored productivity to minimize material and time wastage. Prepared and submitted daily progress reports, next-day work breakdown plans, and ensured smooth workflow between trades. Structural Works Supervised column, beam, staircase, and lift wall formwork according to layout drawings and ensured timely completion. Checked formwork alignment, dimensions, and quality before concreting; calculated required material quantities for each activity. Prepared bar bending schedules for columns, beams, slabs, and staircases; estimated bar quantities for ordering and monitored reinforcement fixing progress. Conducted daily inspections of reinforcement works, verified placement of cover blocks, and rectified any spacing or cover issues. Block Work & Finishing Performed setting-out for blockwork lines and verified execution as per layout drawings. Checked mix proportions and mortar quality, ensuring workmanship and alignment met required standards. Monitored block quantity usage and maintained quality control during finishing stages. Rectification & Maintenance Works Supervised injection grouting for water sumps, honeycomb and leakage rectifications, and plumbing and electrical line repairs. Handled system maintenance such as water sump floater switches, submersible pump systems, water pump panel board repairs, and wastewater line rectifications. Inspection Participation Participated in multiple inspections with external agencies such as Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) (Apartment Building), ESNA (Generator Inspection), Western Fire Ganemulla (Fire System for an Appartment Building), and Wastewater Treatment Plant Inspection at Kokuwela Appartment Building.
