Deputy Director in the Technical Department of Pakistan's Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (now merged into the National Disaster Management Authority), including about 1.5 years as Acting Director (Technical). Led the Design Section: designed projects directly, and reviewed and approved designs submitted by contractors and consultants across hundreds of public projects in education, health, environment and governance. Many were multi-site packages, including an ADB-funded program of 124 prefabricated light-gauge steel schools across three districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Also oversaw electrical and mechanical works at Islamabad's COVID-19 isolation hospital (2020-21).
