FAQ
What do you need from me to start cleaning my website?
I will need access to your hosting dashboard/control panel, OR at least FTP (host, username, password) + phpMyAdmin access (address, usernames and passwords). PLEASE CHECK IF USERNAME AND PASSWORD ARE CORRECT! (if unsure, reset it). Also, send WP admin username and password if you have working one.
What is website monitoring offered in standard and premium packages?
It means keeping an eye on your website, doing plugin updates, checking and scanning for malware and other errors on your website + free cleaning if malware is back.
Can I send you only WP admin username and password?
No, to clean your website, I will need at least FTP access info (hosting control panel login is desireable to get the job done faster).
Will you tell me what caused infection on my website?
Only if I discover the cause during the cleaning. But don't worry, if I don't discover what caused the hack, I will apply set of general security measures that will cover some most common security problems. Also, if infection is back soon, I will clean your website again for free!
Is my hosting/billing account safe if I send login info to you?
Yes, 100%, devices I work for are secured with multiple security and antivirus programs, and 100's of clients can confirm there was no single security problem/incident with accounts they gave me access to.
