Zoho Creator – Vehicle Fleet Inspection App Integration

Project Overview The client needed assistance with a simple vehicle inspection/check sheet system for their fleet drivers. Drivers were required to fill out a form with approximately 12 inspection questions, and the responses needed to automatically populate into a database within Zoho Creator. However, the form submissions were not properly linking with the Zoho Creator application, preventing the data from being captured and stored correctly. Challenges The driver inspection form was not connected correctly to the Zoho Creator application. Field mapping between the form and the database was misconfigured. Submitted data was not populating in the Creator records. Solution Implemented I resolved the issue by: Configuring the form integration with Zoho Creator. Correctly mapping all 12 form fields with the Creator database fields. Ensuring real-time data capture for every submission. Testing the workflow to guarantee reliable data entry from drivers. Results ✔ Drivers can now easily submit vehicle inspection reports ✔ All responses automatically populate inside Zoho Creator ✔ Fleet managers can monitor inspection records in real time ✔ System works smoothly across devices
