Do you create a backup before making any changes?
Yes, always. Before touching anything I make sure a backup is in place so your site can be restored if anything unexpected happens.
Do you need my login credentials?
Not necessarily your main ones. You can create a temporary WordPress admin account and a hosting sub-user with limited access, then delete both once the work is done. I'll guide you through this if needed.
Do you need SSH access?
It depends on the issue. For most fixes standard access is enough, but SSH access makes the work significantly faster and allows me to diagnose deeper server-level problems. I'll let you know if it's needed.
Will my site go down during the fix?
For most fixes, no. For migrations I work on a staging environment first and only switch over when everything is confirmed working.
