Hi, I'm Julia, a German native speaker with a degree in German and English Studies and 4 years of experience translating English fiction into German — Romance, Fantasy, and everything in between.
My specialty: making slang, banter, and wordplay actually land in German, not fall flat. If a joke doesn't translate directly, I find one that does – readers should never feel like they're reading a translation.
Romance also happens to be my personal favorite genre, so working on these books never really feels like "work."

Julia did an amazing translation from my novel from English to German. She is very good with words and even fixed some errors in the English version that I missed. I would highly recommend her if you need a dedicated and skilled translator for a reasonable price!
