I worked as a 3D Character Artist, creating detailed digital characters and assets for games, animation projects, promotional visuals, and other creative productions. My work involved taking character concepts and turning them into fully developed 3D models while keeping the original design, proportions, personality, and visual style intact. I handled the modeling process from the initial blockout through detailed sculpting, retopology, UV preparation, texturing, and final presentation. Depending on the project requirements, I created both high-poly and optimized low-poly models, making sure the final assets had the right level of detail without unnecessary geometry. A significant part of my experience involved creating game-ready characters with clean topology and efficient polygon usage. I paid close attention to areas such as facial structure, clothing, hair, accessories, and anatomy because small details can make a major difference in the quality and believability of a character. I also worked with materials and textures to give characters a polished and realistic appearance. When projects required animation, I prepared models with deformation and rigging requirements in mind, making sure the geometry could support movement without creating unnecessary problems during production. One of my key achievements was developing a more efficient character production workflow that allowed me to maintain high visual quality while working within technical limitations. I became comfortable adapting models for different purposes, including detailed presentation renders, real-time game assets, animation characters, and 3D-printable models. Throughout my work, I consistently focused on accuracy, clean topology, strong visual presentation, and meeting project specifications. Client feedback and revisions also helped me improve my ability to understand creative direction and turn reference images or concepts into finished 3D characters.
